Based on the traditional fishing boat of Lake Como, Italy, known as the “Lucia,” Marco Polo Boats’ “Lario” reflects the elegance and romance of the original centuries old design, yet is made of maintenance-free material. It is simply elegant yet easy to own. The Lucia has historically been rowed by two people standing up and facing forward. The Lario (the ancient Roman name for Lake Como) can be rowed in this manner, or by one or two people seated and facing either forward or aft. It also accommodates a small outboard gas or electric motor.

The Lario comes with the arch, the canopy, oars, two seats, and a transom sleeve for motor mounting!
